Sensory Environments

Carl Jung once said ‘The debt we owe the play of imagination is incalculable’. Sensory stimulation is integral to cognitive development and sensory toys and environments encourage children to explore shape, texture, colour and sound. They can stimulate curiosity and learning through all the senses. The environment overleaf offers a huge variety of engagement. It includes LED coloured lighting cascades within infinity mirrors and an iridescent back lit ball pond. Embossed metallic panels rest against the walls and a canopy to the rear provides a sense of shelter and a retreat from the activity outside. There is no one size fits all approach to designing a sensory environment. Our furniture experts can guide you through the process, from brief development, to concept, through to implementation.
