Over 90 Years of Expertise

We have designed classrooms for over 90 years, in schools all over the UK.

To get the best from any classroom space there are a lot of different factors to consider, but here we’ve broken the process down into four simple steps to get you started.

1. Consider the space.

Obviously not all schools are the same, so whether it’s a refurbished Victorian wing, or a brand-new build, you need to maximise the space you have. When you work with us, we take exacting measurements of every available wall surface, nook, and cranny, to make sure our designs are right first time. We also consider the teachers footprint around the classroom, as well as pupil access to tables, storage, and cloakrooms. All these factors are the building blocks to how well your classroom will work.

2. Physically distant

With COVID changing the landscape of education, how you arrange your classroom now will likely be very different to how you have done in the past. Spaces will need to be flexible and easy to adapt should the need arise, with furniture that can easily be repurposed. We have continued to work with schools through the pandemic and understand the unique needs of the classroom during this time.

3. School style

What sort of aesthetic or colour scheme do you have or want in your classroom? We have contemporary ranges of furniture for every room in your school, available in a huge range of finishes and colours. If traditional style is more suited, then our range of wooden chairs and tables will be perfect. We can provide you with swatches and samples for colour matching and to review materials, so you can be confident in your choices and that everything is as expected.

4. Budget

We have a global supply reach, as well as our own exclusive ranges, so there is a vast amount of furniture to choose from! Our Furniture Consultants can help you navigate those choices, working alongside you to pick the ranges that suits your needs and budget.
